Season 2 of Project: Glee is the second season of the reality competition The Glee Project, in which fourteen contenders compete for a role on Glee. Unlike season 1, the second season includes 16 contestants competing for a role on Glee.
On December 1, 2012, the callback list for members for Project: Glee was officially posted on chat and on the audition blog. 8 boys and 8 girls were chosen gradually. This Seasons winner will be part of the hit glee fanfic, [Glee: The New Years]
Episode three will be Vulnerability, which will be released on January 12, 2013. The mentors were confirmed to be Season One contestant, finalist and homework assingment winner, Emily VanCamp , and glee actress Dot-Marie Jones.
Episode four was confirmed to be Sexuality.
A three months hiatus occured between Sexuality and Adaptability, due to the awards season. A one month hiatus occured between Adaptability and Pairability. It was then confirmed that the twelve episode order was reduced to the original 11 and that all of the remaining episodes will air without hiatuses.
After a succesful season one, it was decided that a season two will created after speculation. A season two was hinted since the beginning of season one, but it was officialy confirmed on November 24, 2012, after the last episode of season one aired.
Casting director, Robert Ulrich, coreographer Zach Wodlee, and vocal producer Nikki Anders all confirmed to return on this season. Robert Ulrich has hinted this will be his last season.
The second season has had many issues with hiatuses, but it was finally confirmed that episodes 6-11 will air in a row.
The second season is performing well on reviews, tough it doesn`t have the same attraction the first season did had.
